The Tottori Prefecture Inshu Washi Cooperative Association is committed to further improving the quality and trust in its products, providing consumers with opportunities to purchase traditional craft items without any due concern, and attaching the “Inshu Washi Brand Mark" to all products authorized by the Association among those which a “Certificate of tradition" has been provided by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry or a "Tottori Prefecture Designated Traditional Craftsperson Mark" by the Governor of Tottori Prefecture.

Obtained a regional collective trademark in 2009.

The certificate of being a traditional art (left) logo only gets attached to products that are made using arts, techniques, and ingredients designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. and which thus satisfy the prerequisite of being a traditional craft item. A place of origin label (right) must be attached alongside the certificate of being a traditional art label.
